Renée & Pete

Renée is the Manager here at Ridgecrest. She has been involved at Ridgecrest over 20 years as a camper & volunteer. The opportunity came up for Renée to be involved in helping manage Ridgecrest with her gifts and experience in management through the COVID period and loves watching God meet our every need. Peter works alongside Renée and looks after the major upgrade jobs at Ridgecrest, including the weekly working bee days on a Thursday. They have 6 children, Joseph & Everly, Daniel, Paul & Jacinta, Caleb, Joshua and Jessica who all help out as part of the team at Ridgecrest, when they are not at school or work.

Margaret

I became a Christian in 1999. I came to a few camps with Emmaus and while I was here on one of our camps I was Dining Room Co-ordinator. God used that camp to show me an opening for me to join the team here. That was in 2008. I have been here ever since. One of my gifts would be my servant heart, and I love that I use this gift everyday. God has taught me so much in my time here. It has been my greatest time of spiritual growth. I believe that God has brought together each person in the team at the right time. There has never been an overlap of gifts. God has used our pasts to shape us to be exactly what Ridgecrest needs when we get here. My hearts desire is to see each person that comes to Ridgecrest for a camp experience the touch and love of the Lord that only he can give.

Phil & Cath

Phil and Cath will be joining our team in March 2024, typically working Wednesday - Saturday’s.

Phil will be working as our Grounds keeper, looking after our everyday maintenance needs and gardening. You will also. be able to find him helping out in the kitchen on occasion.

Cath will be supporting Renée in the Office & Kitchen.

They both bring a wealth of experience and a love for God’s ministry in Camping. We are exciting to have them join us.
